The house is situated on a sloping site overlooking the Ionian Sea. The terrain is shaped through a series of terraces, defined by dry-stone retaining walls and agricultural traces that follow the contour lines and establish the underlying geometry of the place.
The compositional gesture of the plan originates directly from the ground. The project reads the site through the movement of the contour lines and the plateaus they form. The building emerges from these lines, following the geometry of the plot and incorporating the logic of its natural formation.
At a certain point, the linear development bends and forms a hinge. This movement projects outward from the slope, creating a reversed embrace that defines a small, introverted courtyard,  protected and fully private. The hinge becomes the point where the linear system condenses into space.
Beneath this V-shaped gesture, all primary functions of the house are organised: the main bedrooms, the gym and the living areas. This part constitutes the core of the dwelling, where everyday life is concentrated.
At the end of the linear sequence, two independent guest units are placed. Fully equipped and set apart from the main body of the house, they ensure privacy for guests while remaining connected to the overall composition.
The house unfolds as if it crawls along the ground, like a living creature that bends and stretches in order to move across the terrain. The composition is characterised by a strong sense of movement, while at the same time anchoring itself to the rock, establishing a clear sense of stability.
The pool slab is formed as a sharp horizontal plane,  a blade that crowns the main gesture of the composition and reinforces the geometry of the hinge.
Materiality follows the same logic of integration into the landscape. Exposed concrete, stone and planted surfaces form a restrained palette that relates directly to the natural environment. The house is not conceived as an object placed on the site, but as a continuation of the ground itself, expressed through both its geometry and its material presence.
